Fliegen und einfach mal Abtauchen – Koh Tao
Nach zwei Nächten in Ho-Chi-Minh musste ich feststellen das ich wohl nicht mit der Zeit gehe. Denn ich wollte eine Iphone Hülle für min Iphone 5 C kaufen und 
dachte mir wo besser als in Asien? Überall Hüllen-Shops mit jeglichen Motiven aber für mein Telefon fand ich irgendwie keine. Natürlich machte ich die Verkäufer aufmerksam darauf und alle lachten mich aus und sagten no have, no have. Den hier haben alle die neuste Technik und ich mit meinem «alten» Iphone bekomme keine hülle mehr. Nach einer langen Reise von Ho-Chi-Minh sind wir in Koh Samui angekommen und haben erstmal festgestellt das unser Rückflug auserhalb der 30 Tage Aufenthaltserlaubnis ist. Heisst das wir eigentlich 6 Tage länger bleiben wollten. Was nun? Früher nach Hause? Auf keinen Fall. Glücklicherweise hat es auf Ko Samui ein Immigration Büro und nach einigem Papierkram und langen 
Warteschlangen wurde unsere Einreise um 30 Tage verlängert obwohl wir nur für 7 Tage beantragt hatten. Auf Koh Tao sind wir im Palm Leaf untergekommen, denn dies ist gleich neben unserer Tauchschule der Coral Grand Divers. Unser Ziel war es auf Koh Tao unsere Open Water Lizenz zu machen. Dies hatten unser Tagesprogramm für die nächste 3 Tage völlig ausgeschöpft. Lukas feierte dieses Jahr Unterwasser seinen Geburtstag 😊 . Es machte uns viel Spass mal in eine andere Welt abzutauchen und die unglaublichen Farben und Fische zu betrachten. Unterwasser fühlt man sich so klein und unbedeutend was wieder ein ganz anderes Gefühl ist. Wir genossen 
wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge und tolles Wetter. Flitzten mit einem Roller um die Insel und genossen die ruhe und Zufriedenheit an wunderschönen Stränden und Aussichtspunkten. Ich habe da noch das Trapez für mich entdeckt und war hin und weg von diesem Gefühl mal fliegen zu können. Ich weiss nicht, aber als Kind habe ich mir immer gewünscht, das ich mal Fliegen lerne und das war das nächste Gefühl das ich von diesem Wunsch je hatte. Wer also auf Koh Tao ist soll unbedingt zu den Flying Trapeze und sich von diesem Gefühl selber überzeugen lassen. Doch schwirrt schon langsam aber sicher der Gedanke von dem Nachhause gehen in unseren Köpfen. Wenn wir zurück denken haben wir so viel Erlebt und tolle Momente in unserem Herzen. Jedoch fühlt es sich nicht nach 8 Monate an. Wir
haben nicht viel vermisst in diesen 8 monate. Natürlich unsere Familien und Freunde, das ist ja klar. Lukas freut sich besonders auf eine leckere Cervelat mit einem doch so richtig knusprigen Brot und ich Träume ständig vom Kartoffelsalat meiner Tante Christine. (zum Glück wohnt sie gleich neben an) 😊 Aber sonst können wir es uns überall auf der Welt gut gehen lassen und wir genossen diverse Spezialitäten zu Probieren und fanden neue Dinge die wir lieben.
Wir blieben noch eine zweite Woche auf Koh Tao und verwöhnten uns im Hotel The Place. Und ich muss sagen, das absolut genialste Konzept von einer Unterkunft das ich je gesehen habe. Eine Woche lang wohlfühlen und geniessen. Die Bilder sprechen für sich und es war jeden letzte wirklich letzten Rappen wert.

Fly and just dive – Koh Tao
After two nights in Ho Chi Minh I had to realize that I probably do not go with the time. Because I wanted to buy an Iphone case for min Iphone 5 C and thought where better than in Asia? Everywhere case shops with many motives but for my phone I found none. Of course, I ask the sellers if they have any for my phone? and everyone laughed at me and said no have, no have. This people they have all the latest technology and me with my „old“ Iphone can’t even get a new cover. After a long trip from Ho-Chi-Minh, we first arrived in Koh Samui and noticed that our return flight is outside the 30 day visa we have. This means that we actually wanted to stay 6 days longer. What now? Earlier home? No way. Luckily, there was an
immigration office on Ko Samui and after some paperwork and long queues our entry was extended by 30 days although we had only applied for 7 days. On Koh Tao, we were at the Palm Leaf Hotel, because this is right next to our diving school of the Coral Grand Divers. Our goal was to do our Open Water license on Koh Tao. This was our daily program for the next 3 days, completely exhausted. Lukas celebrated his birthday 😊 this year underwater. It was a lot of fun to dive into another world and to look at the incredible colors and fish. Underwater you feels so small and insignificant which again is a completely different feeling. We enjoyed wonderful sunsets and 
great weather. Whisked with a scooter around the island and enjoyed the peacefulness at beautiful beaches and viewpoints. I discovered the trapeze for me and was able to fly, an amazing feeling. I do not know about you, but as a child, I always wished that I could learn to fly and that was the closest feeling I had ever had to it. So, if you’re on Koh Tao, you should definitely go to the Flying Trapeze and be convinced by this feeling. Slowly but surely, the thought of going home is buzzing in our heads. When we think back we 
got to experience so much and will always have these amazing moments in our hearts. However, it does not feel like 8 months. We have not missed much in these 8 months. Of course, our families and friends, that is sure. Lukas is looking forward to a delicious Cervelat with a really crispy bread and I always dreamed of the potato salad of my aunty Christine. (Luckily, she lives right next door) 😊 But otherwise we can go well, anywhere in the world and we enjoyed various specialties and found new things we love now.

. And I must say, the absolutely most brilliant concept of an accommodation I have ever seen. One week no worries and enjoy. The pictures speak for themselves and it was worth every last penny
Koh Tao has a place in our heart.
hingen Lampions die das Städtchen unverwechselbar macht. In den Hideaway Villas sind wir Untergekommen nähe dem Zentrum und in 10min zu Fuss im Städtchen. Hoi An ist am Fluss und hat viele nette Kaffee’s und Restaurants. Die Stadt lebt von Schneidern. Wer sich also was Schneidern lassen will ist hier an der richtigen Adresse. Das schwierige ist eher den Richtigen Schneider zu finden, den es hat hunderte. Wir waren im Blue Eye und wurden von Vi beraten. Kann ich also wärmstens empfehlen und Preis-Leistung hat für uns in diesem Laden übereingestimmt. Nach vielem Schoppen und Probemessen in der Schneiderei sind wir an einem Tag an den Strand gefahren mit dem Velo. Eine schöne Fahrt zwischen den Reisfeldern und Wasserbüffeln. Am Strand machen sie jedoch ein gutes Geschäft den man muss dafür bezahlen das man sein Fahrrad abstellen kann. Es ist jedoch eine schöne
Abwechslung zum Städtchen und lohnt sich auf jedenfall, denn der Strand ist schön. In der Stadt herrscht eine Fussgängerzone, dies ist wunderschön und gemütlich mal ohne grosse Vorsicht in der Stadt zu schlendern und nicht gleich vom nächsten Scooter umgefahren zu werden.
Tagestour mit Hoi An Motorbike Adventures gebucht. Auf einem kleinen Töff ab in Mitte der Strassen Vietnams. Über Reisfelder, Hauptstrassen, Feldwege, Holzbrücken bis hoch auf Monkey Mountain. Ein absolut gelungener Tag. Trotz, dass bei meinem Töff plötzlich die Kupplung riss, hatten wir den defekt schnell überwunden und machten uns auf den Weg in Da Nang ein Mittagessen einzunehmen und hoch auf den Monkey Mountain zu fahren. Wir hielten an vielen Orten an und Hawk unser 
Guide konnte uns sehr viel über die Vergangenheit und Kultur Vietnams erzählen. Wir bekamen auf dem Monkey mountain viele Affen zu sehen besonders erfreuten wir uns über den sehr raren rotschenkliger-Kleideraffe den wir zu Gesicht bekamen. Nach diesem tollen und erfolgreichen Tag genossen wir ein leckeres Nachtessen in unserem Lieblings Restaurant dem Minh Hien wo man auch das berühmte Fresh Bier von Vietnam kriegt für gerade mal 12rappen. Das heisst für 1Franken bekommen wir 8 Bier. Wahnsinn.
Holiday Villas. Diese Unterkunft ist ca. 5min mit dem Fahrrad ausserhalb der Stadt aber unglaublich toll. Würde ich jedem empfehlen und das Hotel bietet kostenlose Fahrräder an.
everywhere that makes the town unmistakable. In the Hideaway Villas we are close to the center and in 10min walk in the town. Hoi An is on the river and has many nice cafes and restaurants. The town lives by tailors. So if you want to have a tailoring here is the right address. The difficult is rather finding the right tailor because there are hundreds. We went to the Blue Eye Tailors and were advised by Vi. So I can highly recommend it and price and quality 
for us was good in this shop. After a lot of shopping and tailoring, we went to the beach by bike. A nice ride between the rice fields and water buffaloes. On the beach, however, they make good money because you have to pay to park your bike. It is however a nice change to the town and is worthwhile, because the beach is really nice. In the city is a pedestrian zone, this makes it beautiful and cozy, without having to watch every second in case you get runover by the next scooter. It makes a city stroll comfortable.
A day of motorcycling. We wanted to do a motorbiketour in but this did not workout. Now we booked a day trip with Hoi An Motorbike Adventures. On a small motorbike off we went in the middle of the streets of Vietnam. Over rice fields, main roads, country lanes, wooden bridges up to Monkey Mountain. An absolutely successful day. Despite the fact that my clutch suddenly tore, we had overcome the defect quickly and made our way to Da Nang for some lunch and then drove up the Monkey Mountain. We stopped at many places and Hawk our guide could tell us a lot about the past and culture of Vietnam.
We got to see monkeys on the Monkey Mountain, especially we were delighted about the very rare red-shanked duoc langur monkeys we got to see. After this great and successful day we enjoyed a delicious dinner at our favorite restaurant Minh Hien where you can also get the famous fresh beer from Vietnam for just 12cent. That is 1dollar for 8 beers. Madness.
stay in another place called Hoi An Holiday Villas. This place is about 5min by bike outside the city but incredibly great. Would recommend to anyone and the hotel offers free bikes.
(Philipp, Lay und Pascal) hat, die ein Guesthouse betreiben hatten wir einen tollen Ausgangpunkt um die Umgebung von Luang Prabang zu besuchen. Angekommen begrüsste uns die ganze Thongbay Familie sehr herzlich. Thongbay so heisst das Guesthouse und ist ein absolutes Muss für in Luang Prabang. Gleich ging es los mit der ganzen Familie zum absolut schönsten Wasserfall den wir in unserem Leben je gesehen haben. Der Kuang Si Wasserfall. Mit dem Minibus sind wir mit einem Teil der Familie die 30min zum Kuang-Si gefahren wo man von einem Eintritt von 20.000Kip den ganzen Tag beim Wasserfall verbringen kann. Wir hatten ein tolles Pick-Nick dabei und kauften uns vor Ort noch einige einheimische Spezialitäten. Angekommen unten am ersten Wasserfall waren wir völlig perplex wie schön dieser Aussieht und das unglaubliche war man läuft am Wasserfall hoch und er hört nicht auf. Überall kleine Wasserfall Treppen mit türkisen Wasser bis man zu Oberst ankommt ein 
unglaubliches Spektakel. Der schönste Wasserfall den wir wirklich je gesehen haben und dass alles Beste ist man darf darin sogar Schwimmen. Wir genossen den Tag am Wasserfall und kehrten später zurück ins Thongbay. Es kamen immer mehr und mehr Familienmitglieder bis uns Philipp erklärte dass sie ein wichtiges Fest feiern den der Bruder von seiner Frau Lay geht für eine Woche zu den Mönchen in den 
Tempel. Das ist eines der grössten Feste die es für eine Familie in Laos gibt und wir dürfen mitten drin sein. Sie Kochten in Mengen Tag und Nacht, jeder hat mit Angepackt, die ganze Nachbarschaft war da und alle setzten sich auf den Boden und fingen an einander zu helfen, jeder wusste ohne grosse Kommunikation was zu tun ist. Ob Jung oder Alt, alle setzten sich auf den Boden und packten mit an. Das Unglaublichste war für uns die Küche. 
Seht selber auf den Bildern. Auf Feuer und am Boden alle zusammen hat das ganze Puzzle zusammen gepasst in einer Küche in der es für uns aus dem Westen unmöglich wäre überhaupt etwas zuzubereiten ausser einer Cervelat. Uuuund dabei können die Lao Frauen Unmengen von Lao-Bier trinken mit besonders viel Eis drin. Natürlich blieb Lukas und Ich davon nicht verschont und
fast jeden Abend waren wir hinter dem Haus in der Küche mit allen am Lao-Bier-mit-viel-Eis am Trinken und hatten unzählige lustige Lao-abende.
Wir sind auf den Mount Phousi hoch und haben uns an einem Abend den Sonnenuntergang angeschaut was wunderschön ist aber alle haben dieselbe Idee und es ist sehr voll da oben. Besser am Nachmittag oder Morgen gehen und die Ruhe geniessen.
Restaurants. Was besonders schön ist, ist der Nachtmarkt. Für mich der schönste in ganz Südostasien den wir gesehen haben. Also wirklich toll und man muss viel Zeit einrechnen um durch zu schlendern.
Khiaw angekommen wirklich wunderschön Fluss, Karstgebirge, Wasserbüffeln und ganz viel alte Bäume eine einmalige Landschaft. Wir sind mit der Familie zu bekannten in ein einheimisches Restaurant und genossen die Laotische Küche. Unterwegs mit all den einheimischen läuft das anders wie bei uns. Die Frauen gehen sofort in die Küche des Restaurants und schauen ob alles richtig 
zu und hergeht und Schwupps schon sind die schürzen angezogen und alle helfen einander. Unglaublich wie das immer Hand in Hand funktioniert und wie alle voneinander profitieren. Wieder Unmengen von Essen wurden aufgetischt und das Bier Lao war auch schon bereit. Weiter eine Stunde Fluss aufwärts und dann kam die Reise schon bald
zu einem Ende. Aber nein nicht mit Lao Frauen 😊 Jetzt geht’s erst richtig los. Auf der Heimfahrt machet wir einen Stop bei einem Shop und einen Sack voll mit Bier Lao und Eis. Jetzt geht’s erst richtig Los und es war die lustigste Busfahrt die wir je hatten.
jeden Morgen auf dem weg vom Tempel in die Stadt um ihre Gaben einzusammeln. Es ist eine sehr rührende Tradition und am morgen früh eine mystische Stimmung. Alles ist noch so ruhig und unberührt das macht das ganze sehr speziell. Die buddhistischen Menschen von Laos geben den Mönchen Reis, Lebensmittel und Geld um ihre Dankbarkeit zu zeigen das sie in der Lange sind zu geben und wen man geben kann hat man ein gutes Karma. Dem Buddhismus sind wir in Laos nähergekommen und ich muss sagen von all den Glauben und Bräuchen die wir jetzt rund um die Welt
kennengelernt haben spricht der Buddhismus mich am meisten an. Was mich sehr fasziniert hat, ist wieder was für eine Zufriedenheit die Laoten ausstrahlen. Es ist eigentlich ein einfaches Rezept, denn sie glauben an die Wiedergeburt. Das heisst die sind jetzt mit diesem Leben zufrieden das sie bekommen haben obwohl es vielleicht ein armes Leben mit wenig 
ist, aber wenn sie das Beste aus diesem Leben machen und zufrieden sind wird das nächste Leben das sie bekommen einfacher. Wo wir oft denken wir Leben nur einmal und einen sehr grossen Druck haben das Beste und meiste raus zu holen um alles zu erleben was zu Stress und Unzufriedenheit führen kann. Ich glaube in Laos kennt man die Krankheit Burnout gar nicht.
Wer in Luang Prabang ist sollte es machen und die Elefanten werden ganz toll behandelt im Elefant Village. Es hat noch viele andere Elefant Camps aber das einzig gute ist das Elefant Village also schaut das ihr in das richtige geht. Man reitet auf dem Nacken des Elefantes ohne Sitzbank auf dem Rücken was für den Elefanten viel Komfortabler ist. Jeder Elefant hat einen Mahout und lebt mit ihm zusammen. Die Mahouts kommunizieren nur über Worte mit ihren Elefanten ohne die schrecklichen 
Holzstäbe. Die Elefanten wurden gerettet aus sehr schwierigen Verhältnissen wo sie tagelang Arbeiteten mussten. Das Elephant Village ermöglicht ihnen eine tolle Zukunft. Sie Arbeiten bis 13:00 Uhr und am Nachmittag gehen sie in den Dschungel wo sie den Rest des Tages mit Freizeit verbringen können und ihren natürlichen Bedürfnissen nachgehen können.

(Philipp, Lay and Pascal) who run a guest house we had a great base to visit around Luang Prabang. Arrived, the whole Thongbay family greeted us very warmly. Thongbay isthe Guesthouse and is an absolute must for visiting Luang Prabangg. We went with the whole family to the absolutely most beautiful waterfall we have ever seen in our lives. The Kuang Si Waterfall. With the minivan we drove with a part of the family the 30min to the Kuang-Si where you can spend from an entrance fee of 20,000Kip the whole day at the waterfall. We had a great pick nick with us and bought some local specialties there. Arrived down at the first waterfall we were completely perplexed as beautiful this view and the incredible thing is the waterfall goes on and on and on. Everywhere small waterfall stairs with turquoise water until you arrive at the top and see the incredible spectacle. The most beautiful waterfall we have ever seen and that is not all the best is you can swim in it. We enjoyed the day at the waterfall and later returned to Thongbay. There were more and more 
family members until Philip explained us that they are celebrating an important celebration the brother of his wife Lay is going for a week to the monks to the temple. This is one of the biggest festivals for a family in Laos and we can be in the middle of it. They cooked so much food day and night, everyone was busy, the whole neighborhood was there and everyone sat down on the ground and began to help each other, everyone knew what to do without a lot of communication. Whether young or old, all sat down on the ground and started doing with what they were good at. The most incredible thing for us was
the kitchen. Look at the pictures. On fire and on the ground, all together the whole puzzle has fit together in a kitchen where it would be impossible for us from the West to make anything except a Cervelat. Aaaaand the Lao women can drink a lot of Lao beer with a lot of ice in it. Of course, Lukas and I were not left out, and almost every night we were behind the house in the kitchen with all the Lao people drinking a lot of beer-lao-with-a-lot-of-ice we had countless funny Lao-evenings.
to celebrate, when they are in a familiar environment the shyness turns into party time. So much has happened with so many different ceremonies I cannot put all of this into words so you have to make your own story with all the photos. It was an amazing experience to witness such a Laotian ceremony and family celebration and all were so hospitable you immediately felt connected and part of it. Have fun with the photos.
they offer transfer service every hour FREE to the city, great bungalows along the river which is beautiful for bathing and they have the best breakfast we got on our whole 8-month trip. Not to mention the price is awesome and the food from the Guesthouse is wonderful.
We went to the the Mount Phousi high up in Luang Prabang and watched the sunset looked it is beautiful but everyone has the same idea and it is very full up there. Better go in the afternoon or morning and enjoy the peace.
What is particularly beautiful is the night market. For me the most beautiful in all Southeast Asia we have seen. Really great and you have to take a lot of time to stroll through.
With the family, we made a day trip to the north of Laos to Nong Khiaw. With the 13place bus we drove 15 of us to the north two hours drive. On the way we stopped in a small school where they looked very poor and spread books, pens, erasers, sharpeners and other things to the children. The kids and the teachers were very grateful and it was a great feeling. In Nong Khiaw we arrived in a really beautiful place with a lovely river, karst mountains, waterbuffs and quite a lot of old trees and a unique landscape. The family was familiar with a 
local restaurant and we enjoyed the Laotian food. All this works a lot different than by us. The women go immediately into the kitchen of the restaurant and look if everything is going correct and they quick get e apron on and all start helping each other. Unbelievable how this always works hand in hand and how all benefit from each other. Again, lots of food was served and the beer Lao was already ready We continued an hour up the river and then the journey soon came to an end. But no not with Lao women 😊 Now it’s really just getting started. On the way home, we 
made a quick stop at a shop and a bag full of beer Lao and ice made its way into the car. Now it’s really just getting started and it was the funniest bus ride we’ve ever had.
touching tradition and in the morning there is a mystical mood. Everything is still so quiet and untouched it makes this ritual very special. The Buddhist people of Laos give the monks rice, food and money to show their gratitude that they are able to be on the side to be able to give and to whom can give to another has a good karma. We have come closer to Buddhism in Laos and I must say of all the beliefs and rituals that we have now got to know around the whole 
world, Buddhism appeals to me the most. What fascinated me is again what a fulfillment the Lao people have and show. It is actually a simple recipe, because they believe in the rebirth. That means they are now satisfied with the life they have received, though it may be a poor life with little, but if they make the best of this life and are satisfied the next life they get will be easier. Where we often think, we have only one life and get a lot of pressure to get the best and most out to every experience and to everything as we only have one life. Where that lead to stress and frustration. I believe in Laos that they do not know the burnout illness.
village. It has lots of other elephant camps but the only good one is the elephant village so check it out that you go to the right place. You ride on the neck of the elephant without a seat on the back which is much more comfortable for the elephant. Each elephant has his own mahout that lives with him. The Mahouts communicate only with words with their elephants without the terrible wooden sticks. The elephants were saved from very difficult conditions where they 
had to work all their life. The Elephant Village gives them a great future. They work until 13:00 and in the afternoon, they go into the jungle where they can spend the rest of the day with leisure time and can meet their natural needs.
erstes Untergekommen. Eigentlich wollten wir 2 Tage die Stadt erkunden und danach mit dem Bus weiter nach Vang Vieng gehen doch nach einer heftigen Nacht mit Durchfall und Erbrechen schafften wir es nicht weiter zu fahren und mussten unseren Aufenthalt um einen Tag verlängern. Glücklicherweise war es bei beiden schnell aber heftig und wir fühlten uns nach einem Tag ruhe wieder kräftig genug um die Bus fahrt in Angriff zu nehmen. Vientiane hat uns nicht so gut gefallen, es ist eine grosse Stadt mit wenig 
Sehenswürdigkeiten, also nicht unbedingt ein Muss dahin zu fahren aber meisten kommt man dicht Drumherum. Wer aber trotzdem da ist sollte unbedingt ins COPE Museum das einem über die Mienen und Bomben Kambodschas aufklärt und sehr spannend ist.
Millionäre und was man für das Geld bekommt ist noch verrückter. Kaum zu glauben das Vietnam noch günstiger sein soll. Troztdem kommen wir eher Arm zurück in die Schweiz, aber keiner kann uns diese Erlebnisse und Eindrücke mehr nehmen, also denke ich das wir reicher als jeder Schweizer-Millionär sind. Nach 5h Busfahrt sind wir in Vag Vieng angekommen wo wir 2 Tage in einem Bungalow Übernachten in den Bearlin Bungalows was wirklich sehr toll war und etwas ausserhalb der Stadt. Später blieben wir noch im Riverside für 2 Nächte und genossen etwas Luxus in Mitte Laos. Vang Vieng ist bekannt als Party Dorf für Tubing und Alkohol. Doch der Staat hat den Alkohol verbannt da zu viele Menschen ums Leben kamen uns jetzt ist es ein ruhiges Dorf und bekannt für Kajaken, Wandern und andere Sportarten. Wir 
buchten eine Tour mit dem Kajak was sehr schön war, denn Vang Vieng ist von Karstgebirge umgeben und dies kommt auf dem Fluss richtig schön zur Geltung. Mit dem Fahrrad sind wir zu der Blue Lagoon geradelt wo sich die Japaner und Koreaner mit Schwimmwesten vom Baum in die Lagune fallen lassen. Also wirklich fallen lassen! Ein lustiges Erlebnis um zuzuschauen und der weg mit dem Fahrrad ist toll. Später sind wir noch zum Aussichtpunkt hoch gewandert. Ein unglaublich Steiler weg und nicht wirklich der 
einfachste also gutes Schuhwerk ist angesagt. Wir genossen das Dorf und machten uns nach 4 Tage auf den Weg nach Luang Prabang. Doch bevor wir da ankommen steht die schlimmste Busfahrt vor uns die wir je hatten. 8h lang über eine Passstrasse mit dem aggressivsten Fahrer. Mit unserem Car haben wir Autos, Minivans und Roller in allen Kurven überholt und sind Hupend 8h die schöne Landschaft hoch und runtergefahren. Das hastige 
Bremsen des Fahrers schoss allen schnell auf dem Magen bis das eine Mädchen neben uns die ganze Fahrt erbrechen musste. Wc Pause? Was ist das? Alle Passagiere fragten ständig nach Wc pausen. Doch unser Fahrer fuhr einfach weiter bis plötzlich alle Aufstanden und ihm zuschrien das er anhalten soll. Nach 5h eine kurze Wc Pause und die Horrorfahrt ging weiter. Glücklicherweise sind wir wohlauf mit einigen schrecken und minus einem Huhn gut in Luang Prabang angekommen.
Vieng but after a brutal night with diarrhea and vomiting we could not drive further and had to extend our stay by one day. Luckily, it was quick and fast for both of us and after a day of rest we felt strong enough again to take the bus ride. In Vientiane there is not so much to see , it is a big city with few sights, so not necessarily a must to drive there but mostly there is no other way. But whoever is there, should definitely go to the COPE Museum, which will help you to get an overview of the mines and bombs of Cambodia and it is very interesting.
millionaires and what you get for the money is even more crazy. Hardly to believe that Vietnam should be even cheaper. In the meantime, we are more likely to come back to Switzerland as poor people, but no one can take this experience away from us, so I think that we are richer than any Swiss millionaire. After 5h bus trip we arrived in Vag Vieng where we spent 2 days in a bungalow in the Bearlin Bungalows which was really great and a bit out of town. Later we stayed at the Riverside for 2 nights and enjoyed some luxury in the middle
Prabang. But before we arrive there, we had the worst bus ride ahead of us. 8h long over a pass road with the most aggressive driver. With our big bus, we overtook cars, minivans and scooters in every sharp corner and of we went tooting 8h through the beautiful landscape up and down the pass road. The hasty braking of the driver shot everyone quickly on the stomach until the one girl beside us had to vomit the whole ride. Toilet break? What’s this? All passengers were constantly asking for break a toilet break. But our driver simply continued on until suddenly all the passengers stood up and screamed at him that he should stop. After 5h a short toilet break and the horror trip went on. Luckily, we are well, with some scares and minus a chicken we arrived in Luang Prabang.
